City Kids Children's Ministry

WHO ARE WE?

To name this church "City View" was an intentional act. With our view towards the city and surrounding areas we kept this goal in mind, and we arrived at naming our children's ministry "City Kids" as we teach the children to love God, love people, and influence our city and others to do the same.

SUNDAY MORNINGS

Our prayer for the children as they come in, is that they will learn something about their great God and His Son, Jesus, then be willing to take what they've learned back home and into their schools to be light and salt.

Guest we would like to let you know, Babies through Kindergarden meet downstairs in our City Kids wing.  Our greeters will walk you to that area.  If you have children 1st through 4th grade the greeters will walk you upstairs.  We sure are glad you've decided to be our guest!

OUR TEACHERS

All of our teachers who serve in City Kids ministry have completed a thorough background check. The safety and security of your children is top priority here at City View.

WHAT DO WE DO IN CITY KIDS?

 

Babies - Crawler's:

Our babies-crawlers have a repetitive weekly lesson

combined with praise and worship. Even at this young age,

we believe our children can learn about our wonderful God.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Walker's:

 

Our walker's have weekly color sheet lessons

then enjoy action packed praise and worship together.

Our little ones especially enjoy music that exaltsJesus

and we always make an effort to encourage it.

 

 

 

 

 

Preschool (Two's-Kindergarten Age):

Our preschooler's have a rotation of learning centers:

We find many ways to say the same thing, when it comes to teaching these little sponges.

By the end of the morning, our children have learned something new about Jesus through a

Bible lesson, a craft, praise and even games!

Elementary (1st - 4th grade):

Children's church enjoys lively praise and worship.

The music and lesson is upbeat, yet meaningful for their age and life stage.

New children who come in feel welcomed and included in all the activities.
